Mrs.Chitralekha Panda,Primary Teacher of this Vidyalaya received the KVS National Incentive Award 2009 in a Ceremony held on 3rd November, 2009 at S Radhakrishnan Auditorium, KV No.2 Delhi Cantt. in recognition of her outstanding services in the field of education and contribution towards the holistic development of pupils.
She was felicitated by Hon'ble HRM, & Chairman, KVS Sh. Kapil Sibal Ji .
The award carried a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, a shawl and a certificate.

The project of Mrs. Chitralekha Panda "
Ecological Security - Act Green" on Think Quest got the
second runner up prize in National Level and became the Spot
Light Project of Think Quest. She was sponsored by Oracle
Foundation to attend the 40 days Virtual training starting
from Oct 13th to Nov 21'08 & 4 days In-class training at
ZIET ,Mysore Dec 10 to 13'08.
An article on Mrs. B.L.mohanty ,PRT of this Vidyalaya taking her interview along with an exclusive photograph of Mrs. Mohanty was published in the literary magazine –Nrutyashree, Two articles of Mr. A.K.Sahoo,Librarian of this Vidyalaya have been published in the KVS Magazine Sangam namely-Jindegi and Death of a Hero and another article titled POSSIBLE published in the May issue of the international Literary Magazine POET.
- In this Vidyalaya this year our 2 teachers Mrs Ameeta das (PRT) and Miss S S Roy TGT(SST) were awarded by Incentive Award by KVS Regional Office Bhubaneswar.in this award both of them got Rs 5000 cash, Shawl and Merit Certificate.
- One of our Teacher Mrs A R Das awarded by Ph D in Education , this is the Higher achievement of our Vidyalaya
